Seemingly in line for a third single operator high power win in CQWW SSB in the past seven years, Tom Georgens 8P5A/W2SC has the high claimed score at the log deadline for the the 2007 WW SSB Contest.

That deadline also brought a new leader to the low power battle, as P40A is now in line for a third straight single op SSB victory. NEW

CQWW SSB EUROPE: CU2A HOLDS FIRST

Improving on his winning claimed score of 2006 by over one million points, Toni Linden CU2A/OH2UA is again the man to beat from Europe so far in the claimed results of the CQWW DX SSB Contest.

Linden's score of 8.2 million points puts him 1.6 million ahead of his nearest pursuer Andy Cook M6T/G4PIQ. MORE

K5ZD, K1BX LEAD US CQWW SSB CLAIMED

Gunning for a CQWW DX double this year, Randy Thompson K5ZD has taken the US lead in the single operator category, with a lead of 800,000 points on Rich DiDonna NN3W.

Meanwhile, there has been an upset in the low power ranks, as Art Hambleton K1BX seems to have ended the three year winning streak of Ed Sawyer N1UR. K1BX claimed 1.75 million to N1UR's 1.45 million points. MORE
